So glad I rented this from Amazon instead of buying

So glad I rented this from Amazon instead of buying. There really are no lessons in the book-- its just set-ups for assignments. Quite honestly, I used it for a class at my local tech and I think I looked at it 3 times and aced the class. I wouldve been ticked had I paid for the book instead of renting... So, since youll never use it as a reference once your class is over (since there is no how-to in it)-- if you can rent it though Amazon, I highly recommend thats the way to go. And they pay shipping both ways!

Needs editing

I rented this book because it was required for an Excel class I was taking. It is not an instructional book, it only contains set-up problems for homework assignments. Be aware that there are many errors in the book, and if you don't know about them, the assignments in the book will not work out. You can download a word doc that lists all errors from the cengage.com website by googling "Excel Applications for Accounting Principles errata."
